Our Story
David and Nerys Lloyd are the husband and wife team who own Unique Welsh Stays. The business is based on David's family farm which has been run by his family for 4 generations. With farming not what it was, he and Nerys believed diversification was the key to sustain the farm.
They started with just Bedw Barn in 2004, realising there was a market for high quality accommodation to allow for gatherings of several families or up to 14 friends. They purposely designed Bedw Barn with this in mind, including an indoor, heated swimming pool, cinema room and ample space both inside and out to enjoy the picturesque setting.
In 2014, when a market had clearly been established for Bedw Barn, the couple went on to develop the Cwtch - a spacious, oak framed cottage for 2 guests and then expanded further in 2018 with the purchase of Green Lane Cottage - a Farmhouse to accommodate 10 people. The development was complete in 2020, with the building of two more oak framed properties, named the Hideaway and Oakview.
